Two Surrogacy Program Cost Options

At Giving Tree, we work to make surrogacy attainable for as many people as possible. That’s why we offer two program cost options: our U.S. Surrogacy Program and our M.A.P.L.E. Program.

U.S. Surrogacy Program

This program is our flagship program and has helped countless families realize their dreams of parenthood. The estimated program cost for intended parents is $149,500.

Benefits of our primary U.S. Surrogacy program:

  • Fastest, Most Reliable Matching: Large pool of qualified surrogates, fully vetted and ready to begin.

  • Strong Legal Framework: Surrogacy-friendly U.S. states provide enforceable contracts and pre-birth parentage orders.

  • Automatic Citizenship: Babies born in the U.S. receive U.S. citizenship at birth.

  • Comprehensive Care: We coordinate everything—from surrogate screening and medical care to legal guidance and delivery support.

Best Choice for Parents Seeking the most streamlined, legally secure, and time-efficient journey.

M.A.P.L.E Program: A U.S.–Canada Hybrid Surrogacy Program

For families who want to explore additional cost savings without compromising safety or support, our MAPLE Program offers the best of both countries. The estimated cost for the M.A.P.L.E. Program is $110,000.

Benefits of the MAPLE Program:

  • Lower Medical Costs: Intended Parents would use fertility clinics based in Canada. Canadian clinics offer world-class embryo transfers at reduced fees.

  • Ethical & Legal Compliance: All Canadian reimbursements are transparent and receipt-based, in line with Canadian law.

  • U.S. Birth & Citizenship: Delivery still takes place in the U.S., so babies receive U.S. citizenship at birth

Best Choice for Parents Who Value U.S. Legal Security but want added savings during the embryo transfer stage.

Surrogacy & Egg Donation
Program Costs

The costs for surrogacy plus egg donation at Giving Tree will vary, and can range from $170,000-$200,000 (approximately). These costs do not include any IVF costs.

Included in the above costs are an estimated surrogacy cost of $149,500+ and fresh egg donation costs of $20,000-$50,000+.

Egg Donation Program Costs

If you need only an egg donor to grow your family, the costs for fresh egg donation are estimated at $20,000-$50,000+. Should you choose to do a frozen egg donation, those costs can range from $16,375 – $30,725 (depending on cohort size).

Do I need to pay all surrogacy-related costs at once?

No, you are not required to pay the full surrogacy costs at once. At Giving Tree Surrogacy, we provide you with a schedule of payments to help you plan financially. Your payments will be broken down into 3 installments to your escrow account.  Most of the surrogate expenses are not incurred until pregnancy confirmation.
