Our Standard Surrogacy Program & Cost

Giving Tree’s Standard Surrogacy Program is our flagship surrogacy program, having helped countless families realize their dreams of parenthood. The program is a safe and secure way to build your family with a gestational surrogate. The estimated cost of our Standard Surrogacy Program is $149,500.

Why Parents in Alabama Choose Giving Tree Surrogacy

Intended parents who join our Standard Surrogacy Program can expect full support from an experienced team of professionals, every step of their journey. From the initial consultation, through matching and journey coordination, you will be cared for and guided.

Why intended parents choose our Standard Surrogacy Program:

A 3-6 month surrogate match time.

This is one of the shortest surrogate match times available from any surrogacy agency. Most surrogacy agencies have a 12+ month waitlist for intended parents. At Giving Tree, we are adding 3-5 pre-screened surrogates each week who are eager to match with intended parents.

Match First Approach.

Intended parents do not pay anything until they have secured a match with their preferred surrogate. There is no financial commitment before a match confirmation, so it provides a low barrier entry to your family-building journey.

Strong legal framework.

There are many surrogacy-friendly U.S. states that provide enforceable contracts and pre-birth parentage orders, creating a smooth process for parents establishing their parental rights. While some agencies use in-house legal counsel, Giving Tree works with a national network of reputable third-party legal counsel experienced in ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) law to ensure professionalism and impartiality. Intended parents will always have separate legal counsel from their surrogate.

Comprehensive care.

Our team coordinates everything – from surrogate screening and medical care, to legal guidance and delivery support. You will be in good hands at every step.

Automatic citizenship.

Babies born in the U.S. receive U.S. citizenship at birth. This is especially important for intended parents who live abroad and come to the U.S. for surrogacy.

Our Standard Surrogacy Program is the best choice for parents who desire no upfront costs before matching, with the most streamlined, legally-secure, and time-efficient journey.

How Much Does Surrogacy Cost?

The estimated cost for surrogacy for intended parents is $149,500. This cost includes the surrogate’s compensation and benefits, screening costs (non-medical), legal costs, agency fees, and escrow management fees.

The exact cost of your surrogacy journey will depend on other variables, including the surrogate’s base compensation (an experienced surrogate receives a higher compensation than a first-time surrogate); the surrogate’s location (travel expenses and local monitoring expenses may vary); and any additionally negotiated surrogate expenses or IP-initiated add ons (such as breast milk pumping). Additional costs not included in this estimate are in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures and newborn medical expenses.

Do I need to pay all surrogacy-related costs at once?

No, you are not required to pay the full surrogacy costs at once. At Giving Tree Surrogacy, we provide you with a schedule of payments to help you plan financially. Your payments will be broken down into 3 installments to your escrow account.  Most of the surrogate expenses are not incurred until pregnancy confirmation.
