What is The Average Cost of Surrogacy?

The average surrogacy cost in the U.S. includes the surrogate’s compensation and benefits, screening costs (non-medical), legal costs, agency fee, and escrow management fee. Other variables include the surrogate’s base compensation (first-time or experienced) and whether an egg donor is needed. Additional costs not included in this estimate are in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures and newborn medical expenses.
