Why Women Become Surrogates?
Many women choose to become surrogates because they feel a deep desire to help others experience the joy of parenthood. They’ve often had smooth pregnancies of their own and feel called to share that gift with someone who may never have the chance to carry a child themselves.
The idea of giving such a life-changing gift—of placing a baby into the arms of hopeful parents—is incredibly powerful. Others are drawn to surrogacy because they want to be part of something greater than themselves. They find meaning in knowing their journey is helping to build a family and change someone’s world forever.

Reasons Women Choose to Become a Surrogate
Here are a few more reasons our surrogates have shared—see if any of them resonate with you.
- Give the Gift of Life and Parenthood
There is no greater gift than helping someone become a parent. Surrogacy offers hope to those who have longed to build a family but have faced obstacles beyond their control.
- Generous Compensation and Benefits Package
We understand the time, effort, and care that surrogacy requires. Our compensation is designed to fairly reflect your commitment, with early bonuses, wellness support, and all related travel and legal costs covered.
- Being a Part of Something Bigger Than Yourself
Surrogacy is more than a process—it’s a mission. Many women choose to become surrogates because they want to be part of something purposeful and life-changing.
- Create a Bond With Intended Parents
The relationship between a surrogate and intended parents is often filled with gratitude, trust, and emotional connection. You may build a lifelong bond with the family you help.
- Join a Sisterhood of Phenomenal, Selfless Women
When you become a Giving Tree surrogate, you join a supportive community of other surrogates who understand the journey you're on. You're never alone.
